The Unreached
The unfortunate reality of the world today is that approximately 3 billion people are unreached - that do not have access to a church or the ability to hear the Good News. Furthermore most of these people live in a part of the world that receives only 2.5% of world mission resources. This means that most of these people have virtually no hope of hearing the gospel even once, much less coming to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Missions agencies have always been about winning people to Christ, but up until the last 20 years, most agencies were content to work only where missionaries were welcomed, while more than a third of the world remained isolated from access to the gospel. Amazingly, even today, there are only 2.5% of missions resources going to missions among the unreached.

Dearest Friends,
I have attached some new photos recently received from our dear friends in Kenya who pastor a church in Kitale, Kenya. They are struggling to feed 653 refugees who fled the recent violence in that country. Jesse and I have wept with them when they called and told us of the atrocities that were being done such as cutting the unborn babies out of the mother's womb and hanging them in trees, leaving the mother to bleed to death! Our hearts are heavy as we try to raise funds for Pastor Simon to feed all these people who are now homeless. He is overwhelmed to say the least!
Some of you have already given generously to help in this crisis. For that, we are grateful and know that God who sees all will bless you accordingly! Please let this email serve as just an update for you. For those of you who haven't given yet, please pray about it. Even $10 goes a LONG way over there! I know the economy is tough right now but, at least we have food on our table and a roof over our head. Maybe we could all commit to consider giving just the "extra" that the Holy Spirit causes us to find in the next few days that is, change on the floor-board of your car; a twenty dollar bill found in a coat pocket; or, an unexpected tax refund?
These people are our brothers and sisters who have sought shelter in God's house (howbeit only tin walls and patched together roof with a few benches). They are not using the money for steak dinners, cigarettes, alcohol or any comfort. In their account of the money sent to them, they are purchasing meager food such as beans, rice, clean water and blankets for warmth.
Should you decide to help Jesse and I send some much needed funds to them you may send you tax-deductible check to:
